A charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Code that is a church, educational institution, hospital, educational endowment foundation, governmental "unit," an organization that normally receives more than one-third of its support from the general public, a museum, or a supporting organization. See Section 170(b)(1)(A)(i)-(vi) and (viii).
