A term to know.
Within the context of charitable foundations, the amount of stock or other interest in a business enterprise that exceeds 20% of the voting stock of a corporation, reduced by the percentage of voting stock actually or constructively owned by disqualified persons. Prohibited transaction penalties may be assessed for these types of holdings, pursuant to Section 4943 of the Code.
